Building Code Revisions

The 9 th Edition and Massachusetts amendments are now available online. The 9 th edition of the Base Code for Massachusetts is comprised of the International Building Code 2009 (IBC) and a separate package with Massachusetts amendments to chapters of the IBC.

Payments for applications or permit fees must be made by check or money order made payable to The City of Springfield—no cash accepted. All information applicable to applications must be filled out completely.
